Hello my name is Stockton. I'm 21 years old currently pursuing and engineering degree and BYUI. I graduated from Chaparral High School in 2018 where I learned I had a passion for Stem courses. I can help your kiddos out with: -Elementary math/science -Middle school math/science -Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Pre-Calculus -Earth Science, Basic Biology, and Basic Chemistry I've noticed a lot of problems, especially in math, are due to a lack of knowledge in one area which only compounds as the year progresses. I'm a young, energetic tutor from the Saginaw Bay region. I have eight years of experience tutoring students at the college level in college algebra, trigonometry, statistics, and calculus. I've also tutored physics for four years. I earned a BS degree in Mathematics from Michigan State University. I was a member of the Honor's College. And my coursework focused on applied mathematics, which intersected with informal training in computer science. During those four years, I worked as a student tutor in a fast-paced center with other upper-level mathematics, physics, and engineering students. Hello! My name is Sarah and I am excited for the opportunity to tell you a little more about myself. I have loved math from a young age and received my Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota in 2017. I have six years of experience tutoring students from 6th grade through college sophomores in various math courses such as middle school math, Algebra I and II, Trigonometry, Pre-Calc, and Calculus. I was a teacher for one year where I worked with a classroom of 4-6 students in geometry, trigonometry, and middle school math courses. When I am not tutoring, I love to be outside biking around the lake near my house! I also enjoy being a leader of my church's youth group where I get to plan fun events for middle and high school students. I enjoy utilizing my creative problem solving skills along with my background in math to help students grow in confidence in and out of the classroom!

I have tutored off and on since I attended Benjamin Franklin High School. I am a Teaching Assistant in Inorganic Chemistry at UNO. I have a B. A. in political science from LSU and am finishing a B. S. in Biological Sciences at UNO. My favorite subjects to tutor are trigonometry/pre-calculus and physics, however; I am experienced in tutoring all basic subjects. During my junior year of high school, I was a tutor for many math subjects including: Algebra, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus. My tutoring sessions typically consisted of a session with the student in which we addressed any homework or course-related issues they are dealing with. I tutored for about a year and a half via my high school's tutoring center, in which allows students to be hired by their peers' parents.

I have taught high school math and science for the last five years, before which I tutored all ages in math, reading, writing, and test prep. I am currently taking a break from teaching to care for my daughter who was born last year. I miss working with students and am eager to help out during this especially tough time. I am happy working with students of all ages, and all subjects. Courses I have taught include Algebra 1, Trigonometry, Precalculus, Biology, and Environmental Science.
