Statistics Tutors

I am a rising junior at Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, MA majoring in Statistics and Psychology available for remote tutoring in Mathematics or Statistics. My background in math includes high school courses in Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus 1, and college courses in Calculus 2, Calculus 3, Intro to Statistics, Intermediate Statistics, and Non-Parametric Statistics. I love math of all kinds and grade-levels, and, working as a TA in college for Statistics as well as a high school math tutor, I have found that I love helping others learn (and maybe enjoy) math. Whether it's brushing up on a few unclear topics or help on summer math work, we'll start where you are and get you ready for the coming academic year!

I was enrolled at St. John Fisher College to become a Math Teacher and receive my Masters. I chose to pursue a different path and become a nurse. This does not take away the vast knowledge I have with the math and statistics subjects. I have been in accelerated math courses since I was young and really fell in love with the subject while in college. It prompted me to change my major to Statistics and a minor in Mathematics and Finance. Math is fun to me because of the problem solving and I feel that I can relate this to your child. I am kid friendly and outgoing. I have patience which is needed to help other with some things that don't come that easy to them. Like I said I think math is a fun subject and I hope to make your child see that as well!!

Hello, my name is Pretema, I am Statistics major at the University of Central Florida. I have done tutoring in two areas. The first being an ROTC mentoring program, as well as a local children's program at a library for ages 2-14.

I have tutoring and teaching experience. I have a MS in Economics with a 4. 0 GPA. I also have a B. A. in Economics, B. S. in Statistics, a minor in Mathematics, a Latin American and Caribbean Studies Certificate. I have tutored many different subjects, but mainly Mathematics, Statistics, Economics from Middle school to upper level college courses.

Hi there! I have been teaching children and young adults for over 10 years, as a swim coach and as an academic tutor. I had many roles as a nanny that included tutoring and schooling assistance, as well as continuously supporting my sister who is 8 years younger than me, through schooling. Most recently, I was a tutor while I attended college. I was a volunteer at a local non-profit teaching and preparing immigrants for their U. S. citizenship test. I was also a paid tutor in the Science and Math learning center as a Math and Statistics tutor. I was referred for this role by my statistics professor after she recognized my determination, love for, and success in mathematics and statistics. Although my strength is in math and statistics, I also have experience private tutoring for many subjects, from kindergarten through college and young adults. I'll be finishing my degree through Georgia Tech's online resources and am available in the Nashville area. I graduated Rhodes College with a double major in Mathematics and Economics. During college I tutored Calculus I & II at Rhodes' Calculus support center. I also was a teachers assistant in Applied Calculus. In high school I earned college credit for BC Calculus, so I am familiar with what it takes for a student to pass the AB and BC calculus exams. In college and in my career in actuarial science I have had significant exposure to calculus, statistics, and micro & macro economics. More recently I have begun tutoring high school students in algebra and elementary students in primary math.
