Private Tutor With 30 Years Experience

Responds within minutes
I have spent the past 30 years helping students discover the joy in learning. I have helped parents to homeschool children grades 3-8, and have tutored students K-12 in Language Arts, Math, Science and Social Studies. I now tutor students throughout Florida utilizing video call. This method is proving to be very effective. My students are not only improving, but they are also thriving!!! I am a positive role model and I enjoy my work to the fullest. I teach students methods that empower them to make the most of their learning experience. I have a special gift in helping students with low self-esteem, learning differences, ADD/ADHD, and anxiety. It brings me great joy to watch these students succeed and become empowered by their own accomplishments. My ultimate goal is to guide each student to the point at which they no longer need a tutor. Dianne, or Ms Dianne to me, started as my kindergarten teacher at a Montessori school in the suburbs of Miami in the 80's. She became my tutor starting in middle school and helped me all the way through college. She understood what weaknesses I had and was able to put in layman's terms what I thought initially was too complex. She has an understanding of how to educate each individual in their best way of learning, and a level of care that is beyond a typical tutor.
