I love being silly and creating games to play to practice important concepts. I have taught elementary homeschool students in the past. I have taught many subjects, such as English, Science, Social Studies, and Math. I can also teach Psychology, Sociology, notetaking, handwriting, study skills, research skills, college preparation/career readiness, and test prep. I am a qualified tutor for several tests, such as the ISEE, SSAT, NNAT, OLSAT, CogAT, WISC IV & V, ASVAB, AFQT, SAT, ACT, and other professional certifications. I am an accomplished tutor with more than 8 years of tutoring experience in many different subjects, tutoring elementary, middle school, high school and college students. I graduated with a BA in English from Johns Hopkins University, then went on to earn an MA in English Literature from Yale University, and an MS in narrative medicine from Columbia University. While in college, I began tutoring family members and friends in English literature, reading comprehension, and academic writing. Post-college, I started working for tutoring companies. As an SAT, ACT, SSAT, and ISEE verbal tutor, I have tutored high school students in English language and literature, academic research, essay outlining and drafting, and test prep for the specific sections. While serving as a full-time Medical Sales Representative, I became a private tutor and discovered that tutoring was my true passion. I'm Mansi! I graduated with merit from University College London with a degree in Statistics. I also specialized in Mathematics with Honors. I have nine years of tutoring experience teaching elementary math, middle school math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Geometry. I have also coached over 50 students both US and international to prepare for the SSAT and ISEE. I currently teach math to middle school students at a private school in Manhattan.
