German Tutors

Based in Chicago, I am a visual artist with teaching experience in the School of the Art Institute of Chicago on Printmaking, Painting & Drawing, Fiber & Material Studies, Photography, Video and Filming. Before making myself into the arts I hold a degree in Economics. I speak 4 languages. I am an immigrant with many skills and qualifications who need to work as soon as possible.

I was in all Advanced courses in high school and took five (5) AP classes over the course of my high school experience. Because of that, during the course of my eight (8) year babysitting experience, I was frequently asked to tutor the elementary-age kids I watched and usually tutored in English and Math specifically.

I have helped students with schoolwork off and on for the last 30+ years. I love education and supporting students in their academic success. Let me know how I can help your student!

I am working as a Teacher Assistant at an Elementary School. I mainly focus on EC classes; however, I have subbed a few times for Reg. Ed. before. Everyone processes information differently and it is my job to help them with that.

I tutored elementary and middle school students through my high school's National Honors Society in 2019/2020. This included many different students for 4 hours a week. Since beginning college, I haven't had the opportunity to tutor; I am looking forward to getting back into it, however. With middle school students I worked on mostly English and social studies. With elementary students I am willing and able to help with any subject.

As someone in virtually all AP/honors classes, I've done quite a bit of tutoring for my peers, siblings, and kids. I've gotten to AP Calc BC, AP English Lit & Comp, AP German, AP US History, AP Gov, AP Human Geo, AP Psych, played Viola since 4th grade, and done the honors version of the three science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Bio). I plan to go into teaching as a career and have experience cadet teaching while at KHS. I love helping people with school and finding creative ways to help people understand the subject.

Hello! I'm Chelsea, an opera singer, currently pursuing a Diploma from the Academy of Vocal Arts in Philadelphia. I also have a M. S. in Education with a concentration in Music. I am a vocalist and bassoonist, with experience teaching Voice (including Contemporary, Classical, Musical Theatre, Pop, Country, Jazz styles), Bassoon, Beginner Clarinet and Beginner Piano. Hi! I earned my bachelor's degree from Bowdoin College with a double major in English and German and a minor in Film Studies. I graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa, and was awarded the German Department's "Consular Prize in Literary Interpretation," as well as the Film Department's "Sunrise Prize" for the best essay by a member of the senior class. During my junior year, I spent 6 months direct enrolled at the Albert Ludwig University in Freiburg, Germany. Upon returning to Bowdoin, I was selected as a Teaching Assistant for students of intermediate college German. I tutored younger students (ages 8+) in both German and English on the side. After college, I moved to Austria to work as an English Language Teaching Assistant for Fulbright Austria. With experience tutoring students of various ages, skill levels, and learning styles, I am confident in my ability to adapt to the needs of the individual, and I can't wait to share my love of language and writing with you.

I obtained my bachelors degree from George Washington University and Master's degree from Loyola University Chicago. I have experience tutoring in the areas of English, History, German, science, math and cello. I am a highly skilled writer, having completed advanced courses ranging from American Literature to Creative Writing. I scored above the 90th percentile on both the verbal and written sections of the GRE. I am an excellent test taker and have learned many skills that has helped my students achieve their desired standardized test score. Hello, my name is Kylee! I am a student in college for my Early Childhood Degree. I have loved teaching ever since I can remember. I have tutored those in Kindergarten and one in high school.
