I lived in Taiwan for a year and a half and I am fluent in Mandarin Chinese. I would love to be a tutor, and I can handle any kind of school work. I am also a certified College tutor - and have taken multiple tutor training courses when I tutored college math.

I am an experienced Mandarin teacher who teaches Mandarin Chinese for toddler to kindergartner kids, grade 1-3 elementary level, and bilingual kids. I have more than four and half years experience on teaching 3-5 years old in a classroom setting and am providing private lessons for adults, elementary kids, kindergartners and preschoolers. Also, I taught some family with 2 siblings age 4-7 years old for private lessons. Furthermore, I taught Chinese beginner level for before and after school program in the public schools. I have worked as a teacher for 17 years. I have worked in enormous classrooms of 80+ students, and I've worked as a one-on-one tutor. I grew up in China, and I am able to teach Mandarin Chinese. However, I can teach not just language skills, but cultural knowledge as well (to those who are interested). I believe students learn faster when they are enjoying themselves; therefore I often use songs, games, stories, and other activities to encourage learning.
