Biology Tutors

I'm a current college student, enrolled with Western Governors University, working towards completing my Bachelors of Science, Science Education (Secondary Biological Science). I have a previous degree in Pharmacy as a technician, and I'm also a mother to a child dealing with the frustrations and confusion of distance learning, and I would like to help those in need during these new experiences. I recently graduated with my B. S. in biology from Duquesne University in May 2020. I am now earning my Master's in Secondary Education to teach biology at the middle and high school level. Hello, I am currently a science teacher at CBC high school. I teach AP Biology, AP Environmental Science, Honors Human Anatomy and Physiology, and Zoology. I am also comfortable with high school level Chemistry and Physics. I have also taken several graduate courses in Statistics.

I am an aspiring High school Biology teacher with a degree in Molecular & Cellular Biology. I would love to help out any middle schooler or high school as they begin to enroll in science classes. I would prefer to help any honors/AP biology student since that is where my major will come to help most. I know that learning these topics, especially online right now, can be very challenging so I would love to provide my knowledge on the topic and study habits/test prep in general. Hello. I am a retired Biology Teacher that taught for 30 years in NJ. I actually have taught Anatomy and Environmental Science as well. Biology is a complicated subject for many students partly because there is a lot of new vocabulary that has to be applied to new concepts. Many concepts are not tangible so I try to create analogies and visuals that the student can grasp. I have a youthful spirit( even though I am 57 )and can relate to students. I have worked with advanced students to special needs and have tutored privately as well. I would love the opportunity to help your son or daughter conquer better grades in this subject.
